Dr. Selvam has many laurels to his name: He is one of the few dermatologists using Pulse dye laser technology to clear birthmarks. He is also the first person in Tamil Nadu to use Fraxel 1550 for acne and surgical scar revision and RevLite for birthmark and tattoo removal.

His expertise also includes treatment for vascular malformations, hemangiomas, and the management of port-wine stains. Under Dr. Selvam’s guidance, Indo-laser ablation was introduced for the first time in Tamil Nadu.
