Dr. Salim received his medical degree from the American University of Beirut Medical Center and his clinical training in neurosurgical oncology from the University of Texas M D Anderson Cancer Center, particularly in Surgery on brain and spine tumors. More than 22 years of experience in neurosurgery, with extensive knowledge of all surgical approaches and procedures in brain and spine surgery, as well as a broad understanding of all central nervous system disorders and diagnostic modalities.
Clinical Focus
Brain and spine tumor surgery are two of his specialties.
Intra-operative monitoring, including intra-operative ultrasound, frameless Neuro-Navigation, and brain mapping techniques, for maximum tumor excision and normal brain preservation.
