Dr. Scott Rennie is a board certified family physician, speaker, writer and media contributor based in Hawai’i.
He earned his doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery at Des Moines University in Iowa, then completed family medicine residency through the University of Washington, Tacoma General, and Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital.
As a family physician, Dr. Rennie enjoys seeing patients of all ages, from newborns to seniors. His practice style emphasizes whole body care, including a focus on nutrition, stress management, weight-loss planning, and proactive treatment of metabolic diseases such as diabetes and high blood pressure. This approach has earned him recognition and high marks as one of the top physicians in the country.
Dr. Rennie is passionate about the use of technology in medicine, promoting reliable and evidence based patient education online. He is also active in teaching and mentoring medical students and residents. He currently serves as Adjunct Professor of Clinical Medicine at Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences.
When not attending to patients’ needs, Dr. Rennie spends his time traveling the World with his family, taking photographs, and going on long walks with his two labradors, Walter and Goose.
