1.Dr.Abbas Deeb

Dr. Abbas Deeb is a consultant nephrologist working in HMS Al Garhoud Hospital in Dubai. He has over 12 years’ experience. Dr.Abbas completed his MBBS from Damascus University in the year of 2007. Later he took his Master’s degree in nephrology from the Claude Barnard University in the year 2011. In France, he also completed fellowship in nephrology, dialysis, kidney pancreas transplantation and hypertension. He practices in France for 10 years before moving to Dubai. He has also set a Nephrology department in Pierre Outdo hospital in France where he the Head of the Department.

2.Dr. Abeesh Pillai

Dr. Abeesh is a consultant nephrologist working in Lifecare Hospital, Dubai. Dr.Abeesh has over 11 years’ experience in the field. He completed his MBBS from the prestigious university of Government medical College, Madurai. He also did his Nephrology training from Madras medical college later on. After completing his training, he went onto work for almost 8 years in various institutions in Kerala and Tamil Nadu and later on went to work in Dubai, UAE. His specialist areas include critical care nephrology, preventive nephrology, transplant nephrology and renal replacement therapy. Other than this he is also active in research field and was awarded several awards by the Indian society of nephrology, southern chapter etc.

3.Dr.Adil Obeid 

Dr. Adil Obeid is a consultant nephrologist working currently in Kings College Hospital, Dubai. He has over 40 years of experience so far in nephrology and Internal Medicine. He is currently one of the most renowned nephrologists of the region. He has trained in Khartoum Hospital in various fields. He also obtained wide and extensive experience in internal medicine by working in various hospitals in the Gulf. He has also been credited for developing and establishing the first ever dialysis centre in Sharjah, UAE.

4.Dr.Afef Koubaa

Dr. Afef Koubaa is a consultant nephrologist and one of the leading female nephrologist in Dubai, working in the Mediclinic City Hospital, Dubai. Dr. Afef gained her MBBS and MD degree from Faculty of Medical studies, Tunis. Then Dr. Afef moved to France where she had completed a specialist degree also in Nephrology. Therefore in France she has four years of experience as a nephrologist and had managed many cases such as acute and chronic renal failures, HTN, diabetes mellitus, end stage renal disease and renal replacement therapy. She has also gained experience from Bahrain before moving to Dubai from 2013.

5.Dr. Amir Malik

Dr. Amir Malik is a consultant nephrologist working in Cleveland Clinic, Dubai. Dr.Amir Malik is a staff physician for Nephrology in the Medical Super specialities institute at the Cleveland clinic , Dubai. He has currently 16 years of experience.Before joining Cleveland, he worked as a consultant in Lincolnshire Hospital, UK. Other than clinical expertise, he is also the governance lead for his department in hospital. He is also actively involved in education and overseeing of training of foundation and core medical trainees. His expertise include acute and chronic management of kidney disorders, peritoneal dialysis and haemodialysis.
