The Advanced Care Oncology Center began its operations in early October. Their Chemotherapy Department started operating in early February 2018 with American Board Certified Doctors. Leading the chemotherapy team is Dr. Tarek AlKhouri, joined by Dr. Batool Aboud, medical oncologists.
The aim of their center is to provide a premium healthcare oncology services to various income groups for Emiratis and expatriates working in the UAE. As well, they aim to service medical tourism to the bordering countries which includes the East and West African countries. They have obtained the latest equipment and appointed a highly experienced multi-national team in giving widespread oncological care.
