1.Dr. Emran Ghaffar Khan
Dr. Emran Ghaffar Khan is an accomplished consultant endocrinologist currently working in Dubai in Kings College Hospital London, Dubai Hills. Dr. Ghaffar has more than 20 years of experience in this field. He had completed his MBBS degree from Dubai, but later on moved to UK to gain experience. He specialized in Endocrinology from Leicester Hospital, UK and during his time in UK he has worked in several hospitals and have also been teaching and training doctors in the field of endocrinology. Some of the hospitals he has worked includes Leicester Royal Infirmary Hospital, Nottingham City University hospital, Nobles Hospital , Isle of Man, UK and Macclesfield Hospital , Manchester. He is also an active member of associations like Society of Endocrinology, UK, Diabetes UK, British Medical Association etc.
2.Dr. Paul Aoun
Dr. Paul Aoun is a Endocrinology Consultant presently working in Dubai, at American Hospital Dubai. He is a consultant having a total of 15 years of medical experience in his field. Dr. Aoun had completed his medical degree from University of North Texas, Health center. He completed his MD degree from John Hopkins University. He then completed his fellowship in Endocrinology and Diabetes from Mayo Clinic in Rochester. Dr.Aoun was in the United States till 2011 after which he moved to practice in Dubai. He is also active in other areas also and has his own publications and has presented in numerous scientific meetings. He is a member at the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists and Endocrine Society. He was also awarded as ‘Americas Best Doctors’ by the American Health Council in 2017.
3.Dr.Binu Pillai
Dr. Binu Pillai is a doctor presently working in Cleveland Clinic, Dubai as Associate staff physician in the Endocrinology department.He has over 20 years of medical experience. Dr. Pillai had completed his MBBS degree and residency from JJM Medical college, Karnataka, India. After completion of his degree he trained in his specialty of Endocrinology and Diabetes from Amrita Institute of Health Sciences, India. After this, Dr. Pillai worked in various different places and hospitals like Apollo Hospital, Muscat, Oman, Australia and Brunei. He is also a very active member in several associations and Endocrine Societies and added to that has trained in compelling thyroid ultrasounds and biopsies.
4.Dr. Hanaa Zidan
Dr. Hanaa Zidan is a Pediatric specialized consultant Endocrinologist working in Dubai in American Hospital, Dubai. She has over 15 years of experience in her field. She has gained her MBBS degree from the University of Jordan and then later on went onto specialize in Pediatric Endocrinology for one year from the Mount Sinai Hospital, Chicago. Thereafter, Dr. Zidan worked in the Children’s Hospital, Michigan for 5 years. And later on moved to Dubai to settle. Her intertest include mainly Vitamin -D and obesity and preatherosclerosis in children having Type 1 diabetes.
5.Dr.Suzane Koubar
Dr. Suzane Koubar is a consultant endocrinologist with 8 years’ experience, currently working near Millennium Airport Hotel, Al Garhoud, Dubai. She has gained her medical degree from University of Saint Joseph, Lebanon and her specialty degree in endocrinology also from there. She has clinical experience working as a physician in Sacre coeur hospital, Lebanon and has also worked for a bit in France. She completed her fellowship from the prestigious French hostel called Kremlin bicetre Hospital. She has clinical expertise in therapeutic education for fields such as type 1 and type II diabetes, obesity, gestational diabetes. She also has experience in performing ultrasound guided fine needle aspiration for removing thyroid nodules. Other than this she also has experience in teaching, and as part time lecturer for graduate students in Nutrition and and Nursing departments from Lebanon.
6.Dr. Abdulla Aljneibi
Dr. Abdulla Aljneibi is a UAE national consultant endocrinologist specialized in pediatry. He has graduated in MBBS from the Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland and then completed fellowship in pediatric endocrinology from the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada. He also holds a certificate from the American Board of Pediatrics from the University of Toronto. Overall, he has over 12 years of experience in his field. After coming from UK, he has previously also worked in Zayed Military Hospital, Dubai and Mushrif Children specialty Centre. Besides clinical expertise and excellence, Dr. Aljneibi is also active in the field of research and has recently published many publications and journals in many international medical journals.
